Prove the hardware path first
Before UI work, we wire the actual printers, scanners, and drawers on real counters. Hardware risk gets retired in week one, not week ten.

Build on our own stack
Faro POS is an Electron desktop product running in real shops daily. When we build your desktop app, we’re reusing battle-tested patterns — not experimenting on you.
Step 03
Treat offline as the default
Local database, local-first writes, background sync. A dead connection should be invisible to whoever’s serving the customer.
Step 04
Package for IT, not just for demo
Signed installers, auto-update channels, and rollback paths — deployable across one machine or fifty.

Why Electron instead of native Win32/WPF?
One codebase, web-grade UI velocity, and a huge integration ecosystem — and it’s what we run in production ourselves. Where raw performance or exotic drivers demand native, we say so upfront and scope accordingly.
Can it run fully offline forever?
Yes. Offline isn’t degraded mode; it’s the primary mode. Cloud sync is opt-in and additive.
Which peripherals can you integrate?
ESC/POS thermal printers, inkjet/laser via OS spooler, USB/serial barcode scanners, cash drawers, weighing scales — validated against your actual devices before we quote.
Do you support macOS too?
Electron makes it straightforward; we scope macOS as an add-on when you need it.
